Ammonium Sulfite

4. The production of caramel color using the ammonium bisulfite method, where it serves as both a catalyst and a reactant, can reduce energy consumption and enhance production efficiency. This method involves reactions that generate certain polymers, which constitute the primary coloring substance of E150d caramel color

5. Utilize sulfonation reaction to convert aldehydes into stable, water-soluble sulfonates, thereby removing them from the system
